EdTech company Eximiatutor becomes Laurea’s key partner

Eximiatutor develops learning support solutions using artificial intelligence.

Laurea and Eximiatutor have agreed to start cooperation as key partners. Eximiatutor is a Finnish EdTech company in the scaling phase that develops, maintains and sells AI assessment technology and related platform and services. Company’s AI solutions are being developed for students, teachers, educational institutions and businesses. For example, AI-enabled products allow a high school student to study, review and get feedback independently.

In turn, AI solutions that support teacher work and task assessment can be integrated into e-learning platforms. Cooperation between Laurea and Eximiatutor has therefore started through the development of the learning platform Canvas.

  • Both sides we were looking for a suitable model for further development. The partnership, is interesting for both parties, says Pasi Petäjä, founder of Eximiatutor.

The cooperation will also involve Laurea students in the development work. The aim is for students to test and bring different perspectives to the use of, for example, an AI-based assessment tool.

  • I am mostly interested in the students’ way of thinking and thinking and doing things in a new way. Students may understand the needs of the customer group, Petäjä describes.
